Ulaanbaatar City Tour
Visit the Mongolian National Museum or the Chinggis Khaan Museum. Explore Sukhbaatar Square, city's central landmark. Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Zaisan Tolgoi, a hill south of Ulaanbaatar. Discover Mongolia's rich religious heritage with visits to the Winter Palace of the Bogd Khaan and Gandan Monastery, the center of Mongolian Buddhism.
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
Head to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (about 70 km from Ulaanbaatar), known for its stunning natural landscapes and impressive rock formations. On the way, stop to admire the statue of Chinggis Khaan, the world's largest equestrian statue at Deluun Boldog, where, according to legend, Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip. Return to Ulaanbaatar.
Khustai National Park
Drive to Khustai National Park (approximately 80 km from Ulaanbaatar). Visit the Wild Takhi (Przewalski's Horse) Project Info Center to learn about this endangered species. Take a guided tour to spot the wild Takhi, a species once extinct in the wild but reintroduced in Mongolia. Overnight at a ger camp within the park.
Return to Ulaanbaatar
Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and stay overnight at a hotel.
