EAGLE HUNTING SEASON
Plan your visit during the optimal eagle hunting season
October - March
Prime eagle hunting season when eagles are trained for fox and wolf hunting. The Golden Eagle Festival takes place in October.
Winter Hunting
Experience authentic winter hunting with eagles in snow-covered landscapes. This is when the traditional hunting actually takes place.
Summer Trekking
June to September offers the best weather for mountain trekking, though eagle hunting is not practiced during these months.
